The Parque del Perro is in the center of the San Fernando neighborhood, which is a residential and tourist neighborhood, highly sought after by foreigners thanks to the hotel zone and hostels within the neighborhood.
The name of the park is due in honor of the dog "Teddy" who is 1950 always followed a group of boys while they carried out various activities until one day the dog bit a boy from the group and he poisoned him in revenge, that's why there is a statue of Teddy in the middle of the park.

You can also arrive by mass transit, you must take any MIO route that passes through the "Estadio" station, from there you get off and walk along Carrera 34 to Third Street, the park is 10 minutes from the station. If you take a taxi or an uber, the address is Cra. 34 #3-2, you can't miss it after you go down the fifth street.
