The Museum of Modern Art of Cartagena Houses some of the most relevant works of the best Latin American painters of the 20th century. During your visit, you will have a continuous program of activities in the rooms of the two buildings. The first building was built in the second half of the 17th century for the Spanish Crown and the second is an addition to the wineries that was built at the end of the 19th century.
The museum's art collection was a donation from the OAS, in which Latin American painting from the '50s is exhibited, which is found in Room 1. It also includes individual and collective exhibitions in its program and a continuous program of activities of support.
The hours to enter the museum are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m.– 7:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, there is a schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on Sunday the entry time is from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The entrance fee to the museum has fee of 8,000 Colombian pesos for adults and 4,000 Colombian pesos for children. (2 dollars and 1 dollar).
