To get to the Naval Del Caribe In Cartagena de Indias you must go to the historic center within the Walled City. Once you enter through the Clock Tower you must walk along the vehicular street that you see at the entrance. Continue along it passing by the Hard Rock until you reach Calle San Pedro, there you turn left and keep walking until you reach Calle San Juan de Dios where you will find the museum entrance half a block away. It only takes you 5 minutes to get there.
The Museum presents exhibits from the Colombian Navy along with its history and the culture of the region. It has video guides in different languages to complement the experience of visitors; It also has special tours for children, and groups and a cultural agenda specializing in naval history.
Its purpose is to disseminate the maritime history of Colombia, through its permanent collection, its programs, and services. The exhibition is divided into two large wings: Colonial and Republican.
Entrance to the Caribbean Naval Museum
The entrance to the historic building of the Naval Del Caribe has a fee of 16,000 Colombian pesos (4.2 dollars) for adults, if you go with children under 13 it has a value of 2,000 Colombian pesos (1 dollar) or if you are a student the price of income you have 5,000 Colombian pesos presenting the card. The entrance hours are from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 05:00 pm.
