The hours of all places are until 01:00 in the morning and from there you can continue the night in the Plaza de Los Coches or the Plaza de Santa Teresa. Some of the most visited restaurants are:

A square is a splendid place with colonial architecture and impressive balconies. On one side, right in front of the Santo Domingo church, is the sculpture "Gertrudis" one of the fat ones by the maestro Fernando Botero, which has the myth that touching her breasts will lead to lasting love relationships. It is also very common to see shows of singers and dancers who constantly animate the Plaza de Santo Domingo.

The Plaza de Santo Domingo is also a historical place in Cartagena. Formerly it was known by the name of Plaza del Mercado because it was the point where they carried out the commercial activities of the city; people went with their products to exchange or sell. There are documents dating from the year 1272 where the existence of the Thursday Market and the Annual Fair appears; this name lasted until the 19th century.
