How much money goes in tolls and gasoline to Barranquilla: Hours and Km

If you want to travel by land to Barranquilla from the main cities of Colombia or if you are in neighboring municipalities, I am going to tell you how much you will spend in tolls for category 1 vehicles, how much the distance and the time to get to the municipality of Barranquilla.

I am also sharing an approximate gasoline consumption on each trip taking into account that my car registers a highway consumption of 45 kilometers per gallon and where the price of gasoline in Colombia after of the pandemic is 8,600 Colombian pesos (it would be about 2.2 dollars).

Tolls, distance, and time from Bogotá to Barranquilla

To get by road from Bogotá to the city of Barranquilla there are 1000 kilometers, 16 hours and 42 minutes of travel and 13 tolls in total, 3 in the department of Cundinamarca, 3 in Santander Colombia, 4 in Bolívar, and 3 in Magdalena. The sum of all is 138,900 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $10,685. Regarding consumption up to the capital Barranquilla, it is 22.2 gallons of gasoline for a total cost of 191,111 Colombian pesos (27.7 dollars). So if you go by car to Barranquilla from Bogotá, the total transportation cost is $330,011, which would be about 82.50 dollars.

How many tolls are there from Medellín to Barranquilla

If you travel from Medellín to the city of Barranquilla, you will have to travel a distance of 704 kilometers in 14 hours. This route has 11 tolls in total; 6 in the department of Antioquia, 2 tolls in Córdoba, 1 in Bolívar, and 2 in Magdalena. Thus, if you are going to travel from Medellín to Barranquilla by car, the total transportation cost is $246,942 (USD 61.74).

The consumption is 2.6 gallons of gasoline for a cost of 22,742 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Cartagena to the city of Barranquilla by land, the total cost of transportation is $56,242, which would be about $14.06 USD.

The sum of all is 128,000 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $10,555. Regarding consumption up to the city of Barranquilla, it is 22.2 gallons of gasoline for a total cost of 191,111 Colombian pesos (27.7 dollars). So if you go by car to Barranquilla from Ibagué, the total transportation cost is $319,111, which would be about $79.78 USD.

The consumption for my vehicle was 25.8 gallons of gasoline and a total cost of 221,880 Colombian pesos of fuel. So if you are going to travel by road from Neiva to Barranquilla, the total transportation cost is $386,680, which would be about $96.67 USD.
