How much money goes in tolls and gasoline to Cúcuta: Hours and Km

If you want to travel by land to Cúcuta from the main cities of Colombia or if you are in neighboring municipalities, I am going to tell you how much tolls will cost for category 1 vehicles, how much the distance and the time to get to the municipality of Cúcuta.

I am also sharing an approximate gasoline consumption on each trip taking into account that my car registers a highway consumption of 45 kilometers per gallon and where the price of gasoline in Colombia after of the pandemic is 8,600 Colombian pesos (it would be about 2.2 dollars).

Tolls from Bogotá to Cúcuta

To get to the city of Cúcuta by car from Bogotá you must go through 5 tolls; 2 tolls in the department of Cundinamarca, 2 in Boyacá, and 1 in Norte de Santander. The sum of the value of all is 42,600 Colombian pesos for an average price of $8,520 per toll. The time of entire trip is 12 hours and 56 minutes from which you travel a distance of 555 kilometers. The consumption is 12 gallons of gasoline for a cost of 103,200 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Bogotá to the capital Cúcuta by land, the total transportation cost is $145,800, which would be about $36 USD.

Tolls, distance, and time on the route from Ibagué to Cúcuta

If you travel from Ibagué you will find 8 tolls to Cúcuta; 2 tolls in the department of Tolima, 5 in Santander Colombia, and 1 in the North of Santander. The sum of the value of all is 78,300 Colombian pesos for an average price of $9,788 for each one. The distance of the road is 709 kilometers and the time to travel it is 14 hours and 32 minutes. Gasoline consumption is 16 gallons from Ibagué for a total cost of 137,600 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Ibagué to the city of Cúcuta by land, the total transportation cost is $215,900, which would be about 54 dollars.

How many tolls are there from Neiva to Cúcuta

To get to the capital of Norte de Santander traveling from Neiva by private car, you will have to travel a distance of 870 kilometers in 16 hours and 29 minutes of walking. For this route, you will have to pay 11 tolls in total2 tolls in the department of Huila, 3 in Tolima, 5 in Santander Colombia, and 1 in the North of Santander. The sum of the value of all is 115,100 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $10,464. For this journey, gasoline consumption is around 19 gallons for a total average cost of 163,400 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel by car from Neiva to Cúcuta, the total transportation cost is $278,500, which would be about $70 USD.

How many tolls are there on the route from Medellín to the city of Cúcuta

There are 9 tolls from Medellín to Cúcuta in total; 3 tolls in the department of Antioquia, 5 in Santander, and 1 in the North of Santander. The sum of the value of all is 85,200 Colombian pesos for an average price of $9,467 per toll. The time is 12 hours and 29 minutes of travel where you travel a distance of 583 kilometers. The consumption for my vehicle was 13 gallons of gasoline and a total cost of 111,800 Colombian pesos of fuel. So if you are going to travel by road from Medellín to the city of Perla del Norte, the total cost of transportation is $197,000, which would be about 49 dollars.

How many tolls are there to the capital of the department from Manizales

For the road trip from Manizales to Cúcuta there are 7 tolls; 1 in Tolima, 5 in Santander Colombia, and 1 in the North of Santander. The sum of the value of all is 66,400 Colombian pesos for an average price of $9,486 for each one. The distance is 707 kilometers and the average travel time is 15 hours and 37 minutes. Regarding consumption, you can use 16 gallons of gasoline (remember that my car consumes 45 kilometers per gallon) for a total cost of 137,600 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Manizales to the municipality of Cúcuta by land, the total transportation cost is $204,000, which would be about $51 USD.

To get by road from Pereira to the city of Cúcuta there are 757 kilometers, 16 hours and 35 minutes of travel and 9 tolls in total; 1 toll in the department of Risaralda, 1 in Caldas, 1 in Tolima, 5 in Santander Colombia and 1 in Norte de Santander. The sum of all is 90,800 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $10,089. Regarding consumption up to the capital Cúcuta, it is 17 gallons of gasoline for a total cost of 146,200 Colombian pesos. So if you go by car to Cúcuta from Pereira, the total transportation cost is $237,000, which would be about 59 dollars.

How many tolls are there from Cartagena to Cúcuta

The sum of the value of all is 45,100 Colombian pesos for an average price of $9,020 per toll. The time of entire trip is 12 hours and 46 minutes from where you travel a distance of 640 kilometers. The consumption is 14 gallons of gasoline for a cost of 120,400 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Santa Marta to the city of Cúcuta by land, the total transportation cost is $165,500, which would be about $41 USD.

Tolls, distance, and time on the route from Barranquilla to Cúcuta

If you travel from Barranquilla you will find 7 tolls to the city Perla del Norte3 in the department of Magdalena and 4 in César. The sum of the value of all is 67,300 Colombian pesos for an average price of $9,614 for each one. The distance of the road is 686 kilometers and the time to travel it is 13 hours and 45 minutes. The consumption for my vehicle was 21 gallons of gasoline and a total cost of 180,600 Colombian pesos of fuel. So if you are going to travel by road from Cali to Cúcuta, the total transportation cost is $321,700, which would be about 80 dollars.

How many tolls are there to Cúcuta from Popayán

For the road journey from Popayán to the city of Cúcuta there are 15 tolls: 1 toll in the department of Cauca, 4 in Valle del Cauca, 2 in Risaralda, 1 in Caldas, 1 in Tolima, 5 in Santander Colombia and 1 in the North of Santander. The sum of the value of all is 150,000 Colombian pesos for an average price of $10,000 for each one. The distance is 1096 kilometers and the average travel time is 21 hours and 37 minutes. Regarding consumption, you can use 24 gallons of gasoline (remember that my car consumes 45 kilometers per gallon) for a total cost of 206,400 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Popayán to Cúcuta by land, the total transportation cost is $356,400, which would be about $89 USD.

Tolls, distance, and time from Pasto to the capital of Norte de Santander

To get by road from Pasto to Cúcuta there are 1335 kilometers, 28 hours of travel, and 17 tolls in total; 1 toll in the department of Nariño, 2 in Cauca, 4 in Valle del Cauca, 2 Risaralda, 1 in Caldas, 1 in Tolima, 5 in Santander Colombia and 1 in Norte de Santander. The sum of all is 170,600 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $10,035. Regarding consumption up to the city of Cúcuta, it is 30 gallons of gasoline for a total cost of 258,000 Colombian pesos. So if you go by car to Cúcuta from Pasto, the total transportation cost is $428,600, which would be about $107 dollars.
