How much money goes in tolls and gasoline to Pasto: Hours and Km

If you want to travel by land to Pasto from the main cities of Colombia or if you are in neighboring municipalities, I am going to tell you how much you will get in tolls for category 1 vehicles, how much is the distance and the time to get to the municipality of Pasto.

I am also sharing an approximate gasoline consumption on each trip, taking into account that my car registers a highway consumption of 45 kilometers per gallon and that the price of gasoline in Colombia after the pandemic is 8,600 Colombian pesos (it would be about 2.2 dollars).

Tolls, distance and time from Bogotá to Pasto

To get by road from Bogotá to the city of Pasto there are 779 kilometers, 17 hours, and 55 minutes of travel and 13 tolls in total; 2 tolls in the department of Cundinamarca, 3 in Tolima, 1 in Quindío, 4 tolls in Valle del Cauca, 2 in Cauca and 1 Nariño. The sum of all is 133,400 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $10,262. Regarding consumption of the capital Pasto, it is 17 gallons of gasoline for a total cost of 146,200 Colombian pesos. So if you go by car to Pasto from Bogotá, the total transportation cost is $279,600, which would be about 70 dollars.

How many tolls are there from Medellín to Pasto

If you travel from Medellín to the city of Pasto you will have to travel a distance of 827 kilometers in 18 hours of travel. This route has 12 tolls in total; 2 tolls in the department of Antioquia, 2 in Caldas, 1 in Risaralda, 4 tolls in Valle del Cauca, 2 in Cauca, and 1 in Nariño. The sum of all is 122,000 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $10,167. For this journey, gasoline consumption is 18 gallons for a total average cost of 154,800 Colombian pesos. Thus, if you are going to travel from Medellín to Pasto by car, the total transportation cost is $276,800 (USD 69).

Tolls from Manizales to the capital of Nariño

To get to Pasto by car from Manizales you must go through 10 tolls; 2 in the department of Caldas, 1 in Risaralda, 4 tolls in Valle del Cauca, 2 in Cauca, and 1 in Nariño. The sum of the value of all is 104,200 Colombian pesos for an average price of $10,420 per toll. The time of the entire trip is 12 hours and 46 minutes and you travel a distance of 634 kilometers. The consumption is 14 gallons of gasoline for a cost of 120,400 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Manizales to the city of Pasto by land, the total transportation cost is $224,600, which would be about $56 USD.

Tolls, distance, and time on the route from Pereira to Pasto

If you travel from Pereira you will find 8 tolls to La Ciudad Sorpresa; 1 in the department of Risaralda, 4 tolls in Valle del Cauca, 2 in Cauca, and 1 Nariño. The sum of the value of all is 79,800 Colombian pesos for an average price of $9,975 for each one. The distance of the road is 584 kilometers and the time to travel it is 12 hours. Gasoline consumption is 13 gallons from Pereira for a total cost of 111,800 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Pereira to the capital of the department by land, the total cost of transportation is $191,600, which would be about 48 dollars.

To get to the municipality of Pasto traveling from Ibagué by private car, you will have to travel a distance of 636 kilometers in 13 hours and 56 minutes of walking. For this journey, gasoline consumption is around 14 gallons for a total average cost of 120,400 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel by car from Ibagué to Pasto, the total transportation cost is $216,900, which would be about $54 USD.

How many tolls are on the route from Neiva to the city of Pasto

There are 3 tolls from Neiva to the capital Pasto; 1 in the department of Huila, 1 in Cauca, and 1 in Nariño. The consumption for my vehicle was 10 gallons of gasoline and a total cost of 86,000 Colombian pesos of fuel. So if you are going to travel by road from Neiva to Pasto, the total transportation cost is $115,200, which would be about 29 dollars.

How many tolls are there to Pasto from Cartagena

For the road journey from Cartagena to the city of Pasto there are 22 tolls; 1 toll in the department of Bolívar, 2 in Sucre, 2 in Córdoba, 7 in Antioquia, 2 in Caldas, 1 in Risaralda, 4 tolls in the Valle del Cauca, 2 in Cauca and 1 Nariño. The sum of the value of all is 229,000 Colombian pesos for an average price of $10,409 for each one. The distance is 1472 kilometers and the average travel time is 30 hours. Regarding consumption, you can use 33 gallons of gasoline (remember that my car consumes 45 kilometers per gallon) for a total cost of 283,800 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Cartagena to Pasto by land, the total transportation cost is $512,800, which would be about $128 USD.

How many tolls are there from Barranquilla to La Ciudad Sorpresa

If you travel from Barranquilla to the capital of the department, you will have to travel a distance of 1,635 kilometers in 31 hours. This route has 21 tolls in total; 2 tolls in the department of Magdalena, 4 in César, 3 in Santander, 1 in Tolima, 2 in the department of Caldas, 1 in Risaralda, 4 tolls in Valle del Cauca, 2 in Cauca and 1 Nariño. The sum of all is 220,300 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $10,490. For this journey, gasoline consumption is 36 gallons for a total average cost of 309,600 Colombian pesos. Thus, if you are going to travel from Barranquilla to Pasto by car, the total transportation cost is $529,900 (USD 132).

Tolls from Bucaramanga to the municipality of Pasto

To get to Pasto by car from Bucaramanga you must go through 15 tolls; 4 in the department of Santander Colombia, 1 in Tolima, 2 in the department of Caldas, 1 in Risaralda, 4 tolls in Valle del Cauca, 2 in Cauca and 1 Nariño. The sum of the value of all is 155,500 Colombian pesos for an average price of $10,367 per toll. The time of the entire trip is 22 hours and 17 minutes from where you travel a distance of 1136 kilometers. The consumption is 25 gallons of gasoline for a cost of 215,000 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Bucaramanga to the city of Pasto by land, the total transportation cost is $370,500, which would be about $93 USD.

So if you are going to travel from Cúcuta to Pasto by land, the total transportation cost is $428,600, which would be about 107 dollars.

For this journey, gasoline consumption is around 9 gallons for a total average cost of 77,400 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel by car from Cali to the capital of Nariño, the total cost of transportation is $116,000, which would be about $29 USD.

How many tolls are on the route from Popayán to Pasto

The tolls from Popayán to the city of Pasto are 2 in total; 1 toll in the department of Cauca and 1 in Nariño. The sum of the value of all is 20,600 Colombian pesos for an average price of $10,300 per toll. The time is 6 hours of travel where you travel a distance of 246 kilometers. The consumption for my vehicle was 5 gallons of gasoline and a total cost of 43,000 Colombian pesos of fuel. So if you are going to travel by road from Popayán to Pasto, the total transportation cost is $63,600, which would be about 16 dollars.
