If you want to travel by land to Pereira from the main cities of Colombia or if you are in neighboring municipalities, I am going to tell you how much you will spend in tolls for category 1 vehicles, how much is the distance and the time to get to the municipality of Pereira.

I am also sharing an approximate gasoline consumption on each trip, taking into account that my car registers a highway consumption of 45 kilometers per gallon and that the price of gasoline in Colombia after the pandemic is 8,600 Colombian pesos (it would be about 2.2 dollars).

If you travel from Bogotá you will find 6 tolls to the city of Pereira, 2 in the department of Cundinamarca, 3 in Tolima, and 1 in Risaralda. The sum of the value of all is 70,700 Colombian pesos for an average price of $11,783 for each one. The distance of the road is 317 kilometers and the time to travel it is 7 hours and 38 minutes. Gasoline consumption is 7 gallons from Bogotá for a total cost of 60,200 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Bogotá to the capital Pereira by land, the total cost of transportation is $130,900, which would be about 33 dollars.

How many tolls are there from Medellín to Pereira

To get to Pereira traveling from Medellín by private car, you will have to travel a distance of 261 kilometers in 5 hours and 58 minutes of walking. For this route you will have to pay 4 tolls in total, 1 in the department of Antioquia, 2 in Caldas, and 1 in Risaralda. The sum of the value of all is 42,200 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $10,550. For this journey, gasoline consumption is around 6 gallons for a total average cost of 51,600 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel by car from Medellín to the city of Pereira, the total transportation cost is $93,800, which would be about $23 USD.

How many tolls are on the route from Cartagena to Pereira

For the road journey from Cali to Pereira there are 5 tolls, 4 in the department of Valle del Cauca and 1 in Risaralda. The sum of the value of all is 50,300 Colombian pesos for an average price of $10,060 for each one. The distance is 211 kilometers and the average travel time is 3 hours and 26 minutes. Regarding consumption, you can use 5 gallons of gasoline (remember that my car consumes 45 kilometers per gallon) for a total cost of 43,000 Colombian pesos. So if you are going to travel from Cali to the capital of the department by land, the total transportation cost is $93,300, which would be about $23 USD.

To get by road from Santa Marta to the municipality of Pereira there are 1010 kilometers, 18 hours and 16 minutes of travel and 11 tolls in total, 1 in the department of Magdalena, 4 in César, 3 in Santander Colombia, 1 in Tolima, 1 in Caldas and 1 in Risaralda. So if you are going to travel from Popayán to the city of Pereira by land, the total transportation cost is $128,000, which would be about $32 USD.

To get by road from Pasto to the capital of Risaralda there are 590 kilometers, 11 hours and 43 minutes of travel and 8 tolls in total, 1 in the department of Nariño, 2 in Cauca, 4 in Valle del Cauca and 1 in Risaralda. The sum of all is 79,800 Colombian pesos where the average price per toll is $9,975. As for consumption up to Pereira, it is 13 gallons of gasoline for a total cost of 111,800 Colombian pesos (27.7 dollars). So if you go by car to the city of Pereira from Pasto, the total transportation cost is $191,600, which would be about 48 dollars.

How many tolls are there from Neiva to Pereira

If you travel from Neiva to the capital of the department, you will have to travel a distance of 325 kilometers in 6 hours and 26 minutes.
