How to get to Pueblito Boyacense Duitama: Price and schedule

Pueblito Boyacense is a replica of the architecture of each of the main towns in the department of Boyacá. It is located within the municipality of Duitama, 50 minutes from Tunja and 3 hours from Bogotá.

Pueblito Boyacense is an essential place in Boyacá. In this tourist attraction, you can see 7 blocks, 124 houses, and 20 commercial premises that recreate the architecture of the Boyacá towns such as Monguí, Tibasosa, Villa de Leyva, Tenza, Ráquira, Sáchica, and El Cocuy. In each replica of the town, you will be able to see its streets, 16 houses, and squares of the architecture of the town it represents. You can also find typical Boyacá and international food restaurants.

To get to Pueblito Boyacense from Bogotá you must take a bus at the northern terminal or Satellite Terminal to Duitama, the ticket costs COP 25,000 (6.9 dollars) and The journey takes 3 hours because you have to travel a distance of 193 kilometers.

If you cannot find routes to Duitama, another option to get there is to go by bus from Bogotá to Tunja where the ticket costs COP 20,000 (5.5 dollars), and from Tunja take another bus that will take you to Duitama for a value of $6,500.

Once you arrive in Duitama, you must go to the Tocogua village, which is where “El Pueblito Boyacense” is. From the Duitama transport terminal it is only 8 minutes to the town, so a taxi charges the minimum fare.

The entrance to Pueblito Boyacense has a price of COP 2,000 (less than a dollar) and its opening hours are from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm from Monday to Sunday.
