The Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina is a department located in the Caribbean Sea north of Colombia; 775 km northwest of the Atlantic coast of the country's continental territory and 220 km from the eastern coast of Nicaragua. Santa Catalina
Santa Catalina is the third island of the San Andrés archipelago and is 1km from Providencia, so to get there you must first arrive in Providencia. It has a dry climate, and a tropical dry forest, and is one of the tourist attractions when you go to Providencia. On this island, you will not find accommodation options, which is why it is considered more of a place to visit when you travel to Providencia.
