To get there you can do it on foot from the main square in Villa de Leyva, it is a walk of approximately 22 minutes leaving the road to Altamira, take the first detour turn right once you leave the town and then continue until you see the entrance to the house which are two stone walls, if you go by car it is only 10 minutes away.
