To get to the Rocks of Suesca from Bogotá you must take a bus at the northern Transmilenio terminal, there you must look for the buses that travel to the town of Suesca. The bus ticket costs $8,000 per person and the trip takes one hour.
To go to the site of the rocks you must get off 10 minutes before reaching the town of Suesca, which is where the entrance is located. Although if you prefer to see the town first, you can walk back as it is only 15 minutes away.
To get to the Rocas de Suesca by car from Bogotá you must take the north highway, travel a distance of 62 kilometers and you will have to pay 2 tolls that add up to 18,000 Colombian pesos. Once you get to the town, you can leave the car in one of the private parking lots and walk towards the entrance to the rocks.
The first thing to see at the entrance to Rocas de Suesca is the railway or the old train track. You must walk through it until you reach the rocky area that makes up Los Halcones and Los Farallones de Suesca.
Among the things to do in this place are a walk through the 3 kilometers of the Farallón de las Rocas, you can observe the pictograms left by the indigenous people, visit the Cueva de la Chocoancia, the El Turpial nature reserve or visit the Suesca lagoon in the upper part of the mountain range.
