How to get to Coveñas

To get to Coveñas you can do it by air arriving at the "Golfo de Morrosquillo" airport because it is the closest airport to Coveñas but it only receives flights from Medellín. The airport is at a distance of 20 kilometers from the town, which would be about 35 minutes by bus. The next closest option is the Montería airport or the Sincelejo airport, which are an hour and a half from town.

You can also get there by land from Sincelejo in your car, although the roads to it are not very good as they are narrow, one lane and there are parts with small holes. On these roads, we recommend you walk slowly because there are uneven sections. If you take a bus, the cost of the ticket is 8,000 Colombian pesos (2 dollars) and you would have 1 hour of travel.

How to get there from Monteria

If you are going to get from Montería to Coveñas, it is best to do it during the day since they can only go by land, the road at night is very dark and some sections are not very good. Between these two municipalities, there is a distance of approximately 93 kilometers, it would be about two hours of travel by land and you will find two tolls, one in Los Garzones for 4,500 Colombian pesos (2 dollars) and another in Mata de Caña for 12,300 Colombian pesos (4 dollars).

You can also arrive by bus from the Montería transport terminal, the value of the bus ticket is approximately 22,000 Colombian pesos (7 dollars) and it would take 2 hours of travel. The last transportation option, but much more expensive, is to take a taxi or Uber from Montería to Coveñas for a fee of approximately 150,000 Colombian pesos (50 dollars).

How to get there from the Montería (Los Garzones) airport

Los Garzone's airport is 80 kilometers away and it would take you approximately one hour and 40 minutes to get to Coveñas. At the airport you can also take buses that come from Montería to Coveñas, the value of the ticket is a little less than $22,000 approximately (7 dollars).

How to get to Coveñas from Cartagena

To get there from Cartagena, there is a distance of 170 kilometers and 4 hours of travel by land. You will come across 3 tolls, which total about 28,800 Colombian pesos (9 dollars). You can also arrive by bus from the Cartagena transport terminal, where the ticket value is 27,000 Colombian pesos (8 dollars).

How to get there from Medellin

If you are going to arrive from Medellín, there is a distance of almost 500 kilometers and about 10 hours of travel by land. If you go by your car you will find 10 tolls, which in total add up to approximately 92,000 Colombian pesos (30 dollars). You can also arrive by bus from the northern terminal of Medellín, there are only two carriers that have this route (Rápido Ochoa and Expreso Brasilia) the value of the bus ticket is approximately 87,000 Colombian pesos (28 dollars), and they leave from 5: 30 in the morning until 11:45 at night and it would be 10 hours of travel.

How to get there from Cali

If you are going to arrive from Cali, there is a distance of a little more than 900 kilometers and about 17 hours of travel by land. You can also arrive by bus from the Cali terminal but you must first take a bus to the northern terminal of Medellín, the ticket value is 60,000 Colombian pesos (20 dollars) and from there take one of the buses that we mentioned above. . What is the weather like in Coveñas
