The Torre de Chipre is a National Urban Theme Park in Manizales. It has a food court at the top of the tower and different attractions for the entertainment of visitors.
As for its history, this structure was previously a water tank that supplied the Cyprus neighborhood, then it was remodeled as a viewpoint of the city for its inhabitants and visitors, taking the name of "Tower to Heaven" which was identified as the tower panorama of Cyprus. In recent years it was remodeled and reinforced to become what we currently know as the Torre de Cyprus National Urban Theme Park.

Tower 2160

Sky Walk
It consists of walking around the viewpoint held by a harness (the viewpoint is 40 meters high).
X-tremo swing
It consists of a pendulum where two people climb to be raised about 15 meters and then they are thrown into free fall.
Climbing wall
The park has a synthetic stone wall to climb, it is 10 meters high and, unlike other walls, it has a small inclination to generate more adrenaline. It has a harness system for safety.
In addition to the food court and attractions, this tower is a perfect viewpoint where you can appreciate the snow-capped Ruiz, the snow-capped Santa Isabel, the Western mountain range, and a panoramic view of all of Manizales. It also has long-distance observation telescopes to see specific points of the city.
How to get to Torre de Cyprus?
The location of the Torre de Chipre or Mirador de Chipre is located in the Observatory Park of the traditional Chipre neighborhood in Manizales, with directions on Avenida 12 de Octubre (which is Calle 7) with Carrera 15. To get there By public transport you must take route 704 of the company Transportes Gran Caldas S.A (it is good to ask before getting on because the routes may change) from the center of Manizales. The tower is 3 blocks from the Monument to the Colonizers.
